A message from the Chairman

The spread of the Coronavirus outbreak continues to impact on our daily life with even greater restrictions on movement of people.

We all have a commitment to play our part, no matter how difficult or inconvenient that may be. We have a duty of care to ourselves and those around us and the more vulnerable in our society.

Malleny Angling Ltd recognises how devastating this action will be on our ability to fish at Harlaw and Threipmuir Reservoirs.

The action by the Government is necessary and Malleny Angling Ltd fully supports any action, no matter how difficult that may be to facilitate, to control and eliminate the spread of this disease.

The sooner Coronavirus is brought under control the faster we will get back to the sport we love.

Access to Harlaw and Threipmuir Reservoirs remains, at this time, open but the car park is closed and visitors are subject to the government restrictions.

Harlaw and the section of bank at Threipmuir controlled by MA Ltd is closed for fishing. Day permits are no longer available until the Government lifts the current restricts or until notified by Malleny Angling Ltd.

The official policy of Malleny Angling Ltd is to stay at home, protect yourself and those around you.

When this medical emergency is over Malleny Angling Ltd will reopen, commence stocking and attempt to get back to normal as quickly as possible. Please keep well and stay safe.

Jim McComb, Chairman
