Thanks to everyone who made it along to the open day. By all accounts it was a great day, thanks to those who could spare their time and expertise to make it a success. Journalist Nigel Duncan was in attendance and has supplied us with some great candid photographs and interviews that were recorded for Crystal FM. Head Bailiff Jim McComb was on the BBQ (not literally, he was the chef) and took donations for £100 for Kids Love Clothes, a charity for which he volunteers. Many of our members gave up their time to provide fly tying information, casting instruction and general information.

If you fancy trying freshly cooked trout, gravlax trout, a look at fly tying or to try your hand at fly casting then check back next year for our 2019 open day. If you can't wait that long then why not visit the fishery for a look around and speak to the bailiff for more information.
